Gorka Márquez will appear in a Christmas-themed dance production arriving in Bradford next year.
The Strictly Come Dancing professional joins the cast for Xmas on the Dancefloor, scheduled for Bradford Live on Sunday 6 December 2026.
The entertainment package features ballroom, Latin, commercial and contemporary styles alongside live singing performances of well-known seasonal music.
Márquez has held a professional dancing position on Strictly Come Dancing since 2016 and has reached two finals, partnering with Helen Skelton and Alexandra Burke respectively.
His professional experience includes international productions such as Burn the Floor, Strictly: The Professionals, FIREDANCE and Speakeasy, in addition to serving as head judge on Spain’s version of Dancing with the Stars.
Stuart Glover, the creative director, outlined the vision behind the production, describing a long-held ambition to develop a show honouring dance throughout the Christmas season.
The programme integrates Strictly-inspired ballroom and Latin routines alongside commercial and contemporary pieces from the Xmas Dolls company.
Glover said the production will deliver nostalgic entertainment combined with spectacle and unexpected elements, constituting a genuine Christmas celebration.
The tour is due to commence in Blackpool.
