West Yorkshire Police have established a significant perimeter along Bierley Lane in Bradford this evening following an incident on School Street.

A stretch of the road, incorporating a pedestrian crossing, has been sealed off by officers at the scene.

Traffic management measures have been implemented in the surrounding Bierley neighbourhood, with officers directing vehicles away from the affected area.

The barriers forming the cordon stretch from Knights Bridge Walk and have been secured to street lighting infrastructure along the route.

Representatives from the Telegraph and Argus have reached out to West Yorkshire Police for additional information regarding the incident.
