An anonymous report from a local resident resulted in the confiscation of an unlicensed off-road motorcycle in West Yorkshire.
Officers from the Bradford East division received information regarding a Sur-ron Light Bee being operated unlawfully within Eccleshill Recreation Ground.
Following the identification of a suspect by a member of the public, police subsequently located both the individual and the vehicle within a residential garden setting.
The motorcycle was taken into custody by officers exercising powers granted under the Police Reform Act.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police stated that information provided by members of the community plays a vital role in addressing the problem of illegal off-road motorcycle usage.
The force emphasised that anyone with knowledge of individuals operating such vehicles outside the law, particularly if aware of storage locations, should contact police so appropriate enforcement measures can be implemented.
