A young woman from the Leeds area who passed away unexpectedly at 26 years old is being honoured through a crowdfunding campaign supporting her funeral arrangements.
Jojo, who had recently become engaged to her partner Danielle, died suddenly following a brain aneurysm.
The campaign was established by her cousin Kylie Pybus with the aim of ensuring she received a fitting tribute.
Describing Jojo, Ms Pybus noted she was taken far too young after suffering an unexpected aneurysm.
She was characterised as a compassionate, generous and lively individual who would go to great lengths for others, someone described as having a heart of gold.
The deceased had recently discovered happiness with her future wife and had embraced a parental role for Danielle’s three children, fulfilling her aspiration to have a family.
While residing in Bradford, Jojo maintained strong connections in Leeds where she spent considerable time with relatives and companions.
The crowdfunding initiative, titled Jojo’s Final Journey, identifies her as a daughter, sibling, aunt, father figure, bride-to-be and above all, a best friend to those around her.
Ms Pybus expressed hope that supporters would assist in providing Jojo with the farewell she deserved.
A memorial service has been arranged for September 30.
