Two individuals aged 18 were taken into custody after concealment in vegetation during a vehicle pursuit by authorities in Halifax.
Emergency response teams tracked a 1,000cc Kawasaki motorbike after it allegedly disregarded attempts to halt its progress.
According to officials, the operator lost command of the machine along Shroggs Road, abandoned the vehicle, and fled alongside the pillion rider.
The pair subsequently concealed themselves within a nearby hedgerow before law enforcement personnel located and detained them.
A representative for West Yorkshire Police stated that investigations confirmed the motorbike had been taken from the Pudsey district during the preceding week and bore registration markers associated with a separate motorcycle reported stolen from the Leeds vicinity.
The spokesperson indicated that due to the prompt intervention of officers, the motorbike was successfully retrieved and the situation was resolved without casualties or damage to the property.
Both suspects have been granted conditional release pending further investigation.
