A 17-year-old male required hospital treatment after police responded to reports of an assault in Keighley.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police attended the incident on Skipton Road at approximately 3.20pm on 15 September.
The young male victim was transported to hospital where his condition was assessed.
His injuries were not considered life-threatening.
A second male, aged 18, was detained by officers at the scene and continues to be held in custody as inquiries proceed.
A police perimeter was established at the location following the incident.
Officers remained present at the scene while investigations continued.
A statement from West Yorkshire Police indicated that emergency services were summoned to address the reported assault.
The younger male received medical attention for injuries described as non-life-threatening.
The older male was placed under arrest.
The investigation remains active.
