Bradford’s culinary scene achieved significant recognition at a prestigious national ceremony dedicated to celebrating excellence within the United Kingdom’s food and hospitality sector.
The British Curry & Catering Awards 2026 took place at the Cedar Court Hotel in Bradford, bringing together industry professionals from across the country to honour outstanding achievements in curry, catering, and hospitality.
Three establishments based in Bradford emerged as the evening’s most decorated winners, securing top honours in their respective categories.
CafĂ© J’Adore took home the award for Best Restaurant CafĂ© 2026.
Lala’s, located in Pudsey on the outskirts of Bradford, was honoured as Best Pakistani Restaurant North Region.
The event was hosted by singer Aidan M.
The ceremony, with sponsorship from The Courts Banqueting Suite, welcomed the Lord Mayor of Bradford alongside the chief executive of Cobra Beer among its guests.
Awards encompassed diverse categories spanning authentic Indian and Pakistani cuisine, customer service excellence, fine dining experiences and takeaway services.
The recognition highlighted the essential contribution these establishments make in forming Bradford’s varied restaurant landscape.
Winners from throughout the United Kingdom were celebrated for their impact on hospitality, with Bradford’s impressive collection of accolades underscoring the city’s prominence within the industry.
The programme additionally featured the Luxe Global Beauty Contest and Awards, overseen by director Tushita Roy, with participants and guests arriving from Sweden and the United States.
