Emergency services attended an incident on Crag Road in Shipley on Thursday morning following reports of a sudden death.
West Yorkshire Police received a call at 6:33am on September 24 regarding the discovery of a man’s body in a public area.
Officers attended the scene alongside paramedics from Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
A police spokesperson confirmed that enquiries were in their early stages and that the death was being treated as unexplained.
A cordoned area remained in place while officers carried out their investigation.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service confirmed that ambulance resources were dispatched to the location on Crag Road in Shipley on the morning of September 24.
The area is understood to be near a well-used public footpath.
