The Keighley branch of the annual poppy remembrance campaign is looking for additional helpers to ensure this year’s fundraising efforts are successful.
The appeal, which officially commences on October 24 and concludes on November 11, requires assistance with preparatory work in the days beforehand.
On October 7 and 8, volunteers will be required to help with the assembly and filling of collection boxes.
These boxes must then be distributed throughout the local area and collection tins collected by October 12.
Those offering their time will additionally be expected to give a few hours of their time manning stalls at the Airedale Shopping Centre or various supermarkets, selling remembrance merchandise to shoppers.
