Research conducted by conveyancing specialist Muve has identified Bradford among the leading 25 property investment locations across England and Wales.
The analysis evaluated 313 local authorities according to criteria including property affordability, residential construction activity, price appreciation and sales transaction numbers, with Bradford securing the 23rd position overall.
Data from the Office for National Statistics and HM Land Registry indicated an average property value in Bradford of £188,505 alongside an annual inflation rate of 5.7 percent.
The Yorkshire and the Humber area emerged as the strongest performing region nationally, with Hull designated as the highest-ranked hotspot within that county.
Leeds attracted particular attention as a major centre for residential development activity, recording 7,187 newly constructed dwelling completions over the preceding two-year period.
This figure positioned Leeds second only to Birmingham, which logged 8,352 new-build completions during the same timeframe.
Mortgage-financed transactions in Leeds reached 220, marginally below Birmingham’s total of 238 such sales.
