Violent crime was the most common category, accounting for 438 incidents – roughly a third of all reports – while public‑order incidents totalled 125 and other‑theft 101. Shoplifting (85), anti‑social behaviour (83) and drugs (88) also featured prominently, with lower numbers of burglary (51), vehicle crime (48) and criminal damage/arson (75).
Looking at specific locations, the Parking Area near the city centre recorded the highest number of incidents with 81, followed by Reyhill Grove with 62. The Shopping Area reported 35 incidents, the Supermarket 22, and the Nightclub 21. Other streets with notable counts included On or near Channing Way (23), On or near Queensgate (19), On or near A6181 (19), On or near Ivegate (19), On or near Broadway (17), On or near Aldermanbury (16), On or near Well Street (15), On or near Centenary Square (14) and On or near Upper Millergate (14).
