The RSX alloy wheel design, originally unveiled by Kahn Design two decades ago, has returned with updated engineering for the 2026 model year.
The Bradford-based automotive customisation company, founded by Afzal Kahn, has redeveloped the wheel to suit contemporary Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, and Defender vehicles.
The redesign forms part of the KAHN Forged collection and represents a complete overhaul rather than a simple re-release.
The original casting method has been replaced with a forging process, delivering enhanced structural integrity, decreased kerb weight, and more defined edge detailing.
According to company statements, the revival aims to honour the wheel’s legacy while aligning with current design principles.
The updated version incorporates a more contoured outer profile alongside a redesigned centre hub featuring a star-patterned surround, creating additional visual depth while retaining the essence of the inaugural model.
Introduced in 2005, the ten-spoke cross-spoke layout drew aesthetic influence from the wire-spoke wheels found on traditional coachbuilt automobiles, though executed with contemporary styling cues.
The design found applications across multiple vehicle platforms, including Range Rover models and BMW X-series variants, and subsequently became one of the most frequently requested items throughout the company’s catalogue.
The 2026 iteration will be offered in 22-inch and 23-inch diameters, finished in a satin black coating.
Operating from premises on Canal Road, Kahn Design has cultivated an international clientele for its bespoke automotive styling solutions while preserving its West Yorkshire roots.
The reintroduction underscores both the enduring appeal of the original design and the manufacturer’s continued prominence within the automotive personalisation sector.
