Former Bradford City alumni James Hanson and John Hendrie helped raise a sum of £1,245 at a charity event for the Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice.

The evening was held at The Acorn in Eldwick and arranged by fan Nick Kitchen as a memorial for his late grandmother.

Kitchen said he wanted to thank all those who contributed donations, purchased raffle tickets or took part in auction bidding. He added that he felt proud and moved that such a substantial amount was collected.
