A musical pair of siblings are preparing to bring their modern folk style to a Bradford venue.

Painted Sky will appear at Wallers Bar on April 23 as part of the Topic Folk Club’s guest evening series.

The duo has been earning increasing attention across Britain’s folk community for what critics describe as their “progressive acoustic sound.”

Holly Brandon, who also performs alongside The Magpies, will share the stage with her sibling George for this engagement.

Their first record, From The Blue, launched in May 2024.

The album, produced by Blair Dunlop, combines modern and traditional musical elements.

The Topic Folk Club hosts its guest evenings on Thursdays at Wallers Bar, located in Millergate within the Sunbridge Wells development.

Entry opens at 7pm, with performances beginning at 7.30pm and concluding near 10pm.

Admission costs £9, or £6 for those eligible for concessions.
