A seasonal fair is coming back to Birstall featuring an extensive array of amusement rides and activities.
GR Tucker’s Fun Fairs will once again visit the area, setting up at 6 Lane Ends, Leeds Road in the vicinity of Heckmondwike, beginning Friday, April 24 through to the bank holiday Monday on May 4.
The spring event guarantees a variety of rides and attractions suitable for both adventure seekers and families.
Among the offerings are the Cliffhanger, Dodgems, and Sizzler Twist, plus a family rollercoaster.
Young visitors can enjoy a newly introduced fire department-themed Fun House, alongside numerous other rides, games, and refreshments.
According to George Rowland Tucker of Tucker’s Fun Fairs, patrons can enjoy rides at a discounted rate of £12.99 for periods up to two and a half hours, with unlimited repeats on popular attractions.
During the weekend and for May Day celebrations, three time slots are available: noon to 2:30pm, 3pm to 5:30pm, and 6pm to 8:30pm.
On weekdays, the fair operates during two sessions: 4pm to 6:30pm and 6pm to 8:30pm.
Adults who are not riding but accompanying children may purchase a wristband for £2, with the option to upgrade to a full-price wristband to participate in the rides.
Visitors are encouraged to arrive a quarter of an hour before their chosen session begins.
