A section of Ripley Street in Bradford will be shut to motorists to allow gas infrastructure work to take place.
The restriction begins on May 11 at 8am and is scheduled to conclude on May 22 at 5pm.
Throughout this timeframe, vehicles will not be permitted past the intersection with Upper Castle Street, though those directly engaged in the engineering work will be allowed through.
Foot traffic will remain possible along the affected area.
Motorists travelling through the area must use a different path.
The suggested diversion follows the unaffected portion of Ripley Street, then continues along Bolling Road, Caledonia Street, Nelson Street, Mill Lane, Manchester Road, Bowling Old Lane, Ripley Street, and Spring Mill Street, with the reverse applying in the opposite direction.
The shutdown runs from 8am on May 11 until 5pm on May 22, though authorities indicate this period could stretch to 18 months should circumstances require.
