Water infrastructure improvements will see Farringdon Grove shut to traffic for a five-day period.

Bradford’s local authority has imposed restrictions on vehicles travelling along Farringdon Grove between numbers 2 and 24, commencing at 8am on Monday 13 July.

The road closure, required for crucial water maintenance, is scheduled to conclude at 5pm on Friday 17 July.

Should circumstances demand, the restriction period could stretch to a maximum of 18 months.

Construction vehicles will be permitted to enter the closed section.

Foot traffic will not be affected during the works.

Drivers will need to find their own routes as no detours have been arranged.

The measure has been enacted pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14.

Authorisation came from the Director of Legal and Governance within Legal and Democratic Services at City Hall, Bradford, representing the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council.

Those living in the area and those driving through are urged to make alternative arrangements for their trips.
