TALLOW skincare brand opens first shop at Darley Street Market

An independent British skincare label is preparing to unveil its inaugural brick-and-mortar location this weekend.

TALLOW, established by Nuzhat Rashid, will open at Darley Street Market in Bradford on Saturday, September 12, with celebrations commencing at 11am.

The inauguration event will feature sweet treats, cake pops, performances by the Mirror Man, and complimentary gift bags for the initial 50 shoppers arriving from 9am.

The company concentrates on ethically produced, handcrafted, and customised skincare solutions, incorporating halal, grass-fed tallow as a primary component across its product range.

According to Ms Rashid, the motivation behind TALLOW stemmed from a desire to make skincare feel more individual and meaningful.

Her background in customer service meant that listening to individuals and comprehending their actual requirements became integral to the business ethos.

Witnessing customers document their skin transformation and the positive impact the offerings had on them proved deeply fulfilling.

While establishing the first physical presence in Bradford represents an exciting progression, maintaining the personal care and attentiveness that defined the brand remains paramount as expansion occurs.

The team hopes to create an inviting, enjoyable experience that serves as a positive introduction for those visiting Darley Street Market.

The company was developed collaboratively with a qualified pharmacist boasting over two decades of professional experience alongside a dedication to natural apothecary principles.

Since its initial online launch, the business has expanded through word-of-mouth referrals and returning customers.

TALLOW provides personalised skincare formulations addressing sensitive, dry, acne-prone, and eczema-prone complexions, alongside solutions for pigmentation concerns, scarring, mature skin types, and general body care requirements.

The collection recently broadened to encompass the Mummy and Baby range, offering mild skincare products appropriate from birth alongside nourishing body treatments suitable throughout pregnancy.

The establishment will operate from the Lifestyle Level of Darley Street Market, trading Monday through Saturday between 9am and 5.30pm.

Councillor Ian Walker, Bradford Council’s executive member responsible for neighbourhoods and communities, expressed enthusiasm at welcoming TALLOW to Darley Street Market while extending best wishes to Nuzhat for this new business endeavour.

As part of the opening celebrations, all merchandise will be available with a five-pound reduction for that single day only.

TALLOW’s philosophy extends beyond mere products, emphasising community engagement and attentive customer service through digital platforms, real-time communication, and direct dialogue.

This approach has fostered a devoted customer base while assisting individuals in identifying appropriate solutions for their distinct skincare requirements.
