ITV programming adjustments are scheduled for this week as UEFA Nations League football clashes with popular soap opera time slots.
Scotland’s Nations League fixture against Switzerland is scheduled to commence at 7.45pm on Tuesday evening, with coverage beginning at 7.30pm.
The match timing means it will overlap with the regular broadcast periods of both Coronation Street and Emmerdale.
With no Sunday episode currently scheduled for either programme, viewers will miss an additional episode this week due to the sporting coverage.
Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley, best known for portraying Mandy Dingle, has spoken out about online scams following her own distressing experiences.
During an appearance on Good Morning Britain on Friday, September 25, the soap star revealed she has been targeted by fraudsters three times despite maintaining vigilance around suspicious websites and communications.
Riley disclosed she was recently defrauded while renewing her ESTA travel authorisation and again when purchasing tickets for a Stevie Wonder concert.
When attempting to buy concert tickets through a website that appeared legitimate, nearly 9,600 pounds nearly left her account before her bank intervened to halt the transaction.
The actress also described her distress after discovering artificial intelligence-generated images depicting her as pregnant had been widely shared online alongside fabricated news articles.
The images proved particularly painful given her history of four unsuccessful in vitro fertilisation attempts.
Riley expressed concern that her personal information may still be circulating on fraudulent platforms.
She advised viewers to operate on the assumption that any unsolicited online offer should be treated as a potential scam.
