West Yorkshire Police have provided an update following the death of a man in the Shipley area of Bradford.
Officers attended Crag Road following a report of a sudden death at 6:33am on Thursday, 24 September.
The incident occurred in a public area.
At the time of the initial response, the circumstances surrounding the death were considered unexplained.
Crime scene investigators were deployed to the location.
Following enquiries, authorities have now confirmed that the death is no longer being treated as suspicious.
The investigation has been closed.
A local resident who spoke to reporters last week described noticing a police presence near the scene.
The individual reported having cycled past the area the previous evening without observing anything unusual, then discovering the scene had been cordoned off upon returning the following morning.
According to the same source, another person in the community had described the deceased as appearing respectably dressed.
A separate local resident indicated awareness of the incident through social media.
In a statement issued on Monday, a West Yorkshire Police representative confirmed that enquiries into the death at Crag Road, Shipley, on 24 September had concluded and were being classified as non-suspicious.
Officers had attended the address following reports of a sudden death in a public space.
The force indicated that documentation would be prepared for submission to the coroner.
