A documentary focusing on the climate and nature emergency will be shown at Bradford City Hall on September 30.
The event has been arranged by Green Party councillors and members of the public are welcome to attend without charge.
The People’s Emergency Briefing film will be shown in the Banqueting Suite starting at 7pm.
Running for approximately 50 minutes, the production includes contributions from nine British scientists and specialists, among them television presenter Chris Packham.
The documentary investigates how the climate emergency influences everyday existence throughout the United Kingdom.
Shipley representative Councillor Kevin Warnes observed that the climate and nature emergency is currently having consequences for residents, encompassing severe weather conditions and escalating expenses.
He noted that the film presents an opportunity to comprehend the research and consider its implications for Bradford.
Following the screening, an open forum will be held allowing attendees to discuss the hazards confronting communities in the Bradford area.
Admission is complimentary, though seating is restricted and those wishing to attend are recommended to reserve their place beforehand.
Councillor Lottie Kitchen commented that the occasion would allow for a transparent and educated conversation on the subject.
