Emergency responders attended a petrol station in Bradford following the discovery of a deceased man on Monday, August 17.
The incident occurred at a site on Rooley Lane shortly before 6:30am when emergency services were summoned due to concerns for the individual’s welfare.
A man aged in his 40s was pronounced dead at the location.
The death was originally classified as unexplained, prompting a police investigation at the scene.
West Yorkshire Police has since confirmed that the circumstances surrounding the fatality are now considered non-suspicious.
A force representative indicated that documentation would be compiled for submission to the coroner.
Investigating officers maintained a visible presence at the petrol station for several days as inquiries progressed.
Forensic experts carried out examinations of the area surrounding the forecourt, where authorities had established a tent to facilitate their work.
The petrol station remained inaccessible throughout the investigation period, with the adjacent car wash also unavailable to customers.
Following the discovery, Bierley and Holme Wood ward Councillor Matt Edwards from the Green Party expressed condolences, stating that such reports were deeply distressing and that sympathies were extended to the man’s family and those close to him.
