Officers conducting enquiries in the Denholme area recovered multiple pieces of equipment believed to have been taken unlawfully.
The discovery was made during an operation at an address on Trough Lane on a recent Tuesday.
Enquiries led authorities to a property in the Bradford district where the items were located.
A representative from the local policing unit stated that officers attended the farm location and located a trailer reported as stolen.
A man was subsequently taken into custody on suspicion of theft.
Following an examination of the premises, additional property was found.
All recovered items are understood to have been obtained illegally.
The individual was questioned under caution and has been granted conditional release while investigations continue.
Equipment recovered encompassed a JCB dumper truck, welfare unit trailer bearing Decon markings, red and blue horse transportation boxes manufactured by William, an animal trailer with a reduced height roof, a standard box trailer, power generation equipment, a refrigerated transport vehicle, and a further trailer unit.
