A car was discovered on its side in the Thornton area on Wednesday morning, prompting a response from emergency services.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police attended the scene on Back Lane at approximately 10.07am following reports of the overturned vehicle.
The occurrence was recorded as highway disruption rather than a road traffic collision.
Initial assessments suggested the car had come to rest in that position without apparently being involved in an impact with another vehicle or object.
Consequently, the case has not been classified as a traffic accident at this stage.
Police representatives indicated that units assessed the situation at the location.
While no injuries were documented, the vehicle’s driver received guidance to seek medical evaluation as a precautionary measure.
Details regarding the sequence of events that resulted in the vehicle ending up on its side have not been made public.
A West Yorkshire Police representative stated that the matter had been recorded as highway disruption given that the vehicle was found resting on its side and did not appear to have collided with anything.
Officers attended at approximately 10.07am and recommended the driver attend hospital.
No injuries were reported.
