Bradford’s Driver Hire Records £3 Million UK and A$1 Million Australia in Same Week

A Bradford-headquartered logistics staffing business has recorded its most successful weekly revenue performance to date.

Driver Hire, operating as part of the SPS Group portfolio, generated £3 million through its United Kingdom operations alongside A$1 million in Australian revenue during the identical trading period.

The business provides temporary and permanent driving personnel alongside supplementary logistics workers to clients spanning both public and private sectors.

Chief executive Chris Chidley described the £3 million single-week UK revenue achievement as a significant milestone for the organisation.

The Australian division simultaneously posted its inaugural weekly revenue exceeding one million Australian dollars, creating what he characterised as a particularly meaningful moment for the group.

According to Chidley, these outcomes resulted from substantial collaborative effort across both territories, encompassing staff dedication, client fidelity, and the efforts of thousands of agency workers representing the business daily.

Annual network revenue projections indicate the company is positioned to surpass £165 million this financial year, reflecting continued expansion across both British and Australian markets.

The weekly figures constitute record performances for the network, which comprises more than one hundred British locations and twelve Australian offices.

Chidley stated that despite taking considerable pride in the business’s history spanning more than four decades, the focus remained directed forward.

Ongoing investment in digital recruitment infrastructure, technology systems, and innovative practices was enabling offices to forge stronger connections with clients and jobseekers alike, ensuring the business continued adapting to employer requirements and candidate needs.

He expressed confidence that significant growth potential remained in both territories, supported by enhanced productivity and the capacity to assist clients in managing increasingly complex regulatory requirements.

Driver Hire Australia functions as an affiliated operation to the British enterprise, delivering comparable recruitment services within the transport and logistics employment sector.

The recent performance milestones follow multiple consecutive weeks of robust trading activity that have consistently exceeded broader recruitment industry benchmarks in both geographic markets.
