A boy in the Wibsey area of Bradford was reportedly subjected to indecent exposure by a man, according to police reports.
The alleged offence is understood to have occurred in a narrow passageway linking St Paul’s Road and St Paul’s Avenue at approximately 4pm on Wednesday afternoon.
Officers received notification of the incident shortly before 6pm the same day.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed that neighbourhood officers are actively investigating the matter.
Additional high-visibility patrols have been deployed throughout the surrounding area as a precautionary measure.
Representatives from the force have also been in contact with educational establishments in the locality.
Investigating officers have urged anyone who witnessed suspicious behaviour in the vicinity or possesses information that could support the inquiry to make contact with the Bradford South Neighbourhood Policing Team.
