A fitness centre in West Yorkshire has been named among the finalists for a prestigious industry accolade.
Pride Gym, located in Low Moor, has earned a place on the shortlist for Gym of the Year (North) ahead of the National Fitness Awards, an annual event celebrating outstanding achievement among fitness operators throughout the United Kingdom.
The venue’s proprietor, Terry Holt, described the nomination as a significant achievement that acknowledges the dedication displayed by staff members and also serves as recognition for the supportive atmosphere cultivated by the gym’s membership base.
According to Holt, the facility remains committed to ongoing development and creating an environment where individuals look forward to their visits as a positive part of their daily routine.
The team is said to be anticipating the ceremony with enthusiasm.
The final phase of the assessment process could involve an inspection of the premises by a judge alongside the submission of supplementary materials.
Each shortlisted venue will have a comprehensive evaluation prepared, which will subsequently be examined by an independent panel of judges.
The winners are set to be revealed during a formal dinner event scheduled for Friday, November 27, at The Athena venue in Leicester.
Mike Hewitt, who serves as the event director for the National Fitness Awards, noted that entries have reached unprecedented levels this cycle, with competitors demonstrating consistently high standards across all categories.
Hewitt stated that this reflects the creativity and robustness of Britain’s flourishing fitness sector.
