A car engineering firm operating from premises in Shipley has upgraded its facilities after securing funding through a local initiative.
Danst Engineering, situated at 2 Aireside Road, obtained a grant of £7,550 from the Shipley Towns Fund.
The financial support enabled the company to implement solar panel technology, modernise its information technology infrastructure and acquire three-dimensional scanning equipment.
The company’s managing director, Dan Standley, explained that the investment allowed operations to expand while preserving established quality benchmarks.
He noted that improved operational efficiency had already generated extra production capability and would ultimately support the establishment of an additional position within the workforce.
Standley commented that the business provides specialised services and expressed satisfaction at being able to direct resources toward expansion.
The grant was provided via the Capital Assistance Grant Project.
Gill Thornton, who chairs the Shipley Towns Fund committee, stated that it was encouraging to observe how the funding was already delivering substantial benefits for enterprises in the area.
She welcomed the prospect of new employment opportunities being created.
