Emergency services responded to reports of a break-in at a food outlet located on Duckworth Lane in Bradford on the morning of 28 September.
Images captured at the scene revealed harm to a ground-level window at a Mother Hubbard’s fish and chip shop.
Dark plastic sheeting had been placed over a section of the damaged window from within the premises.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police attended the commercial burglary report, which was logged at 10.26am.
A force representative confirmed the attendance to the scene.
The takeaway, which operates branches throughout Yorkshire and other regions, appeared affected along the prominent Duckworth Lane road, as shown in photographs taken from outside the establishment.
Investigations into the incident remain active.
It has not been established whether any items were taken during the reported break-in.
