A woman who survived grooming and sexual exploitation has been forced to leave her home following a campaign of harassment and threats against her life.
Fiona Goddard, now 33 years old, was subjected to grooming and sexual abuse by multiple men while living in a care home in Bradford at the age of 14.
Nine individuals were sentenced to prison terms in 2019 for their involvement in these crimes.
However, Ms Goddard received notification in 2025 that those convicted would be eligible for early release from custody.
Following this disclosure, she began experiencing intensified harassment from members of the public.
According to reports, she was subjected to threatening communications suggesting that individuals would carry out their own form of justice.
The intimidation included messages accompanying food deliveries she had ordered, with senders using anonymous accounts to question her about the meals.
Communications also accused her of fabricating allegations about the abuse she suffered.
The volume of threats increased significantly after she returned to her residence following a period in temporary accommodation.
Ms Goddard indicated that she believed the situation would deteriorate further once her attackers were freed from prison.
She said that remaining in Bradford had become untenable given the ongoing harassment she faced.
The removal of any remaining sense of justice or closure was described as deeply distressing for her.
She and her children have subsequently moved to temporary rented accommodation for their protection.
A crowdfunding initiative established by Amy Hinchliffe to assist with living expenses has accumulated contributions totalling nearly £13,000.
Ms Hinchliffe explained how Ms Goddard had been compelled to relocate for her own safety as a result of her experiences with grooming gangs and child sexual exploitation.
She outlined that Ms Goddard and her children had since faced instability, moving between locations without the security they required.
Ms Hinchliffe emphasised that the situation extended beyond providing shelter, noting that the aim was to enable a mother and her children to eventually experience genuine safety, security and stability without the constant uncertainty about their future circumstances.
