A folk ensemble originating from Bradford is scheduled to appear at two cultural venues across the district during October.
May Contain Notes will take to the stage at the Bradford Industrial Museum on October 18, beginning at 2pm, before moving to Cliffe Castle Museum in Keighley the following week, with the second event set for October 25 at the same time.
The trio, based in the city, has built a reputation for delivering performances that combine emotional resonance with thoughtful commentary, often punctuated by wit and a narrative approach to their craft.
Their repertoire spans traditional folk material alongside modern compositions, political pieces and self-penned songs.
The group frequently incorporates unaccompanied vocal harmonies alongside instrumentation.
The three-piece lineup features an assortment of musical elements, incorporating brass instruments, banjo, guitar and percussion, complemented by unaccompanied singing.
Their compositions examine contemporary life and broader themes through a combination of depth and levity, presenting audiences with material that prompts reflection while remaining accessible.
