A 16-year-old youth from Bradford who disappeared last week may have made his way to the capital, according to officers.
Mustafa, who originates from the Manningham and Lower Grange districts, was captured on CCTV at Leeds railway station in the morning hours before his final confirmed sighting.
Investigators later traced him to Pancras Road in London, where he was recorded at 12:05pm on Wednesday, September 23, following his departure from King’s Cross.
The missing person is described as a Middle Eastern male of approximately 5 feet 6 inches in height.
He has curly brown hair and brown eyes.
When last seen, the teenager was dressed in a tracksuit combining black and light grey colouring.
The upper portion and lower legs were black, with grey fabric across the midsection.
His footwear consisted of black trainers.
He was also carrying a black sports bag from the Foot Asylum brand.
Investigators believe he may have connections to Birmingham in addition to his West Yorkshire origins.
Anyone with relevant information should dial 101 and reference log number 241 dated September 23.
Alternatively, details can be submitted through the West Yorkshire Police website’s live chat feature.
Those who spot him are advised to contact officers immediately by calling 999 rather than approaching him directly.
