Authorities in West Yorkshire are examining multiple agricultural and rural offences, among them the diversion of 1,000 litres of fuel.

The fuel was taken from premises situated within the Bradford local authority area during a 48-hour window spanning September 20th and 21st.

Investigators confirmed that a substantial amount of electrical cabling was also removed during the same period.

The specialised unit handling wildlife and rural criminal activity within West Yorkshire indicated that elevated costs at the pumps may have served as motivation for the culprits.

Those responsible bypassed boundary security by slicing through fencing to reach a storage facility.

While the precise location has not been disclosed, officials identified the BD15 postal sector, covering Wilsden and adjacent localities, as the affected area.

This case forms part of a collection of incidents detailed in the force’s most recent overview of countryside criminal activity.

A theft occurring in Holmfirth resulted in the loss of a red Honda quad bicycle alongside a Polaris Ranger vehicle.

The structures surrounding a barn were systematically taken apart to facilitate access.

Equipment valued at around ÂŁ4,000 was additionally taken.

The Honda quad bicycle was subsequently located and returned.

A Country C350 ride-on grass cutter was taken in Aberford on September 24th before being discovered in close proximity.

Detectives are seeking three individuals in relation to this matter.

Additional cases comprised the removal of a JCB excavating machine from Pontefract, a pair of industrial lift trucks from Seacroft, and several quad bicycles from Yeadon, Thornton, and Huddersfield.

In Beeston, two domestic fowls were taken from a private garden between September 23rd and 25th.
