Gresham Avenue is set to experience disruption due to planned water infrastructure maintenance.
The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council has confirmed the implementation of temporary traffic restrictions along the thoroughfare.
The closure will commence from the section located adjacent to property number 2 on Gresham Avenue.
Local residents and motorists have been notified through official channels regarding the forthcoming arrangements.
The legislative basis for the restriction falls under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Affected parties should note that the prohibition commences at 7am on September 28, with a scheduled conclusion at 7pm on October 2.
Access on foot will be maintained throughout the duration of the works, though vehicular through-traffic will be subject to the restriction.
Exceptions apply to construction vehicles directly engaged in the maintenance operations.
Should circumstances require, the council has indicated that the closure may be prolonged for a maximum period of 18 months to facilitate completion of the necessary improvements.
