A free walking tour promising atmospheric tales of the supernatural will take place in the centre of Bradford.
Whispers in the Wool City offers guided tours through the city incorporating stories of local ghosts, historical accounts, and theatrical performances.
The initiative is being managed by Bradford BID and is scheduled for October 29 and 30, with tours departing at three separate times: 2pm, 4pm, and 6pm.
According to Leanne Holmes, who serves as project manager for Bradford BID, the city contains a deep and compelling history with narratives tucked away throughout its urban landscape.
She explained that the Whispers in the Wool City programme brings certain local legends to life through entertaining and approachable programming.
She added that residents and visitors are encouraged to gather companions, dress warmly or in costumes, and take part in an immersive exploration of the city’s more enigmatic side.
The route comprises six locations where participants will encounter some of the lesser-known legends and spine-chilling historical events connected to Bradford’s streets.
Reservations must be made in advance through the Bradford BID website.
