A fresh initiative has launched to support grassroots football across the Bradford area, with a £20,000 funding package now available to affiliated clubs.
The scheme has been established through a collaboration between the West Riding County FA and Davies Sports, the sports education and equipment supplier.
The partnership aims to ensure local teams have access to essential kit for the upcoming campaign.
Eligible clubs in Bradford can secure a £100 credit voucher upon registration, with funds redeemable against a selection of products including footballs, goals and matchday necessities.
The application process must be completed by Wednesday, September 30 to qualify for the initial allocation.
Beyond the core voucher, registered clubs gain access to further advantages.
These include a yearly 20 percent discount code, preferential pricing on equipment throughout the season and complimentary delivery on purchases exceeding £40.
The West Riding County FA serves as the governing body for the sport across a significant portion of Yorkshire.
Beyond Bradford and Craven, its jurisdiction extends to Leeds, Calderdale, Kirklees, Wakefield, Selby and Harrogate.
The organisation ranks among the largest county football associations operating in England.
The partnership responds to the need for adequate resources at the grassroots level.
The chief executive of the West Riding County FA highlighted that teams perform better when properly equipped, and suggested the initiative would assist players, coaches and volunteers throughout the season.
Davies Sports operates as a provider of equipment and educational materials for football clubs and educational institutions ranging from primary schools through to higher education.
The company’s own sports equipment range, marketed under the Shoshin brand, forms part of the exclusive offerings available through the scheme.
A representative from Davies Sports noted the retailer’s commitment to supporting the association’s clubs and emphasised the organisation’s strong reputation for member assistance.
The marketing manager responsible for partnerships expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration and urged all qualifying teams to participate before the deadline.
Registration for the fund remains open until the end of September.
