Emergency services responded to a serious road collision in Bradford on the evening of September 21, resulting in a man in his thirties requiring hospital treatment.
The incident occurred on Bolton Road shortly after 8pm, when a motorcyclist sustained severe injuries in a hit-and-run collision.
The rider was discovered at the roadside suffering from serious head trauma and was transported to hospital for medical care.
Bolton Road extends from Bradford city centre through residential areas including Barkerend, Bolton and Undercliffe, continuing toward Eccleshill.
Emergency services attended the scene following a collision between an off-road motorcycle and a light-coloured vehicle near the junction with Leeds Road.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service deployed multiple resources to the location after receiving reports of the incident at approximately 8.08pm.
No vehicles remained at the scene when officers arrived.
According to investigations, the motorcycle was carrying two individuals and was in the process of turning left onto Bolton Road when contact occurred with what authorities believe was a people carrier or van.
One of the motorcyclists departed the scene with the bicycle.
Roads Policing Officers are continuing efforts to locate the vehicles involved and establish the full circumstances surrounding the collision.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or possesses relevant footage to come forward.
