Officers from West Yorkshire Police have taken a 32-year-old individual into custody following reports of an assault in the Keighley area.
Emergency services contacted law enforcement on the afternoon of Saturday, September 19, after the Yorkshire Ambulance Service attended an incident on Church Street in Keighley.
Paramedics were called to the location where they found a man displaying injuries consistent with an assault.
The injured party, aged 48, was conveyed to a medical facility where he received attention for his wounds.
Medical staff assessed the harm as superficial in nature, confirming the presence of lacerations and contusions.
The injuries were not classified as serious.
The suspect was apprehended at the location by attending officers on suspicion of committing a Section 47 assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Following standard procedures, the individual was granted bail while investigators continue their inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the alleged incident.
