German Doner Kebab has introduced its inaugural chicken nugget range, which has begun appearing on menus at every UK location including the Bradford restaurant.
The freshly launched Doner Seasoned Chicken Nuggets consist entirely of chicken breast and are being rolled out across the country, bringing the company’s signature döner seasoning to a traditional comfort food staple.
According to the company’s chief marketing officer Chris Waters, the concept stemmed from the popularity of chicken nuggets as a menu item.
Waters explained that the aim was to apply the distinctive döner flavour profile to this widely-loved option, creating something with bold taste.
He noted that the new product delivers substantial flavour while remaining affordable, forming part of GDK’s value-focused offering at accessible price points.
The nuggets are offered in three portion options.
A pack of four pieces priced at £2.99 includes one dipping sauce, while eight pieces costing £5 come with two sauces.
The largest option provides 20 nuggets for £11.99 and includes four dips.
Additionally, customers have the option to supplement any main order with four nuggets as an accompaniment.
The release coincides with the beginning of university term and forms part of the Fiver Menu initiative, which is designed to provide budget-friendly meal options priced at £5.
The timing of the launch was positioned to appeal to students during Freshers Week, catering to those seeking a rapid meal between classes, following study sessions, or as a social food option to enjoy with peers.
