A retail destination in central Bradford is preparing to stage its first sustainability-focused fashion showcase.
The Broadway shopping centre will welcome visitors to the event on Saturday, October 3, between 11am and 5pm.
The initiative invites attendees to update their wardrobes while considering environmental impact.
Centre management has highlighted that accessible lifestyle adjustments can generate substantial collective benefits when adopted widely.
General manager Ian Ward explained that the programming demonstrates how shoppers need not sacrifice personal style when pursuing more responsible consumption habits.
The venue also aims to illustrate how mindful clothing choices complement the existing retail provision available on site.
Rather than conventional runway presentations, the occasion will feature interactive installations occupying two dedicated sections.
A styling lounge will deliver individual consultations, while a customisation space will enable participants to embellish, patch and personalise garments.
Each zone has been developed to assist consumers in prolonging the lifespan of their clothing through inventive and eco-conscious techniques.
Entry to the event requires no advance reservation.
Since its inauguration in 2015, The Broadway has accommodated over 90 retail outlets, dining establishments and eateries.
The complex has contributed significantly to broader urban revitalisation efforts throughout Bradford.
