Bradford-based law firm Gordons has recorded its sixth successive year of positive financial performance, according to results released for the 12 months ending March 31, 2026.
The firm reported a 12 percent increase in net profit, reaching £14.6 million, while turnover climbed 11 percent to £26.3 million.
The company noted that its commercial divisions were the primary driver of growth, achieving a 13 percent year-on-year revenue increase.
Staff members were rewarded for the strong results, with all employees set to receive a bonus equivalent to five percent of their annual salary.
Victoria Davey, who serves as managing partner, attributed the performance to the enduring connections established with clients and the firm’s distinctive approach to legal services.
She explained that the combination of client trust and the firm’s enterprising culture enables decisive action that produces favourable outcomes for those the firm serves.
Davey stated that maintaining simplicity and executing fundamental tasks well characterises both the firm and its most valued clients.
Over the six-year period since 2020, net profit has risen by 77 percent and turnover has grown by 46 percent.
The firm, which also maintains a presence in Leeds, now employs 184 people.
Gordons has expanded its roster of commercial clients while reinforcing partnerships with established names including AO, Iceland Foods, Morrisons, Wren Kitchens, Molson Coors, Evri, and Zoopla parent company Houseful.
The practice has also sustained its commitment to social mobility through a legal apprenticeship initiative that has been running for 15 years.
Collaboration continued with Harehills charity CATCH, which assists young individuals in achieving their goals.
More than 25 paralegals joined the firm across various projects during the reporting period.
Davey indicated that the firm would continue creating diverse opportunities for young people, noting that many individuals in this group demonstrate determination and strong potential but simply require an opportunity to demonstrate their abilities.
