A licence application for a new establishment selling alcoholic drinks has been submitted to the local authority in Bradford.
The paperwork was filed with City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council on July 28, 2026, by Mr Eric Jean-Marie Alfred Poli.
The proposal involves a venue to be called La Buvette, situated at 91 Kirkgate in Shipley.
The request covers the retail sale of alcoholic beverages for consumption both on the premises and off the premises between 11am and 10pm throughout the week.
Members of the public have until September 25, 2026 to submit their views in writing to the council’s licensing department.
Written objections or comments should be directed to the Licensing Team based at Shearbridge Depot on Shearbridge Road in Bradford.
The licensing register may be examined by members of the public at that same address during standard opening hours.
Consultation points are available from 9am to 5pm on Mondays through Thursdays, with reduced hours of 9am to 4.30pm on Fridays.
Those submitting representations should be aware that providing incorrect information in connection with such applications constitutes a criminal offence potentially resulting in an unlimited financial penalty.
