A nationwide vocal contest is arriving at drinking establishments throughout Bradford, presenting residents with an opportunity to be crowned Britain’s next Pub Idol.

The competition launches in community taverns across Yorkshire and the Humber region on September 7.
Participating Bradford venues include the Crown Hotel and Malt Kiln Inn.
Contestants will compete in weekly preliminary rounds, with each round’s victor receiving a bottle of Prosecco as a prize.
The pub-level championship rounds are scheduled for the week commencing October 12, where the victor earns a £50 drinks voucher.
Winners from the pub stage progress to the regional championship beginning the week of October 26, where a £100 bar tab awaits the victor.
The overall national champion is awarded £1,000 alongside a professional studio recording session.
Second place secures £500, while third place receives £250.
Competitors reaching both regional and national levels must perform two pieces, including one energetic or fast-paced number.
