An event celebrating the music and style of the 1980s is scheduled to take place in Bradford on Friday evening.
The Gary Davies Discos for Grown Ups 80s Party will be held at a venue in the city, with doors opening to attendees at 7.15pm and the main entertainment commencing at 8pm.
Admission prices range from £27.50 to £42.95 per ticket.
The evening will showcase the talents of Gary Davies, the renowned disc jockey who currently presents BBC Radio 2’s Sounds of the 80s programme.
He will be joined by the resident Discos For Grown Ups DJ for what organizers describe as a packed schedule of entertainment.
Attendees can anticipate a comprehensive selection of popular tracks from the 1980s, with the event promising energetic anthems and multiple opportunities for guests to participate in singing and dancing throughout the night.
Participants are welcome to embrace the era’s fashion, with suggestions including shoulder pads, backcombed hairstyles, and memorabilia from bands such as Wham and Frankie Goes to Hollywood.
The programme will commence with the Discos For Grown Ups DJ before Gary Davies assumes the role of headline entertainer, delivering what is described as an engaging and energetic set.
The production will incorporate professional dancers, celebratory confetti, illuminated displays, laser effects, and rotating mirror balls.
The musical playlist will span numerous artists from the decade, including Wham, Erasure, ABBA, Whitney Houston, A-ha, Queen, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, the Human League, Madonna, the Eurythmics, and Soft Cell, among others.
Organizers have indicated that only a single performance is planned, with availability now extremely limited.
Online bookings are restricted to a maximum of 10 tickets per transaction.
Concessions and priority access options remain subject to availability.
