West Yorkshire Police have confirmed two arrests following an incident in which a vehicle was reportedly driven toward a man on a street in the Keighley area.
Officers attended the scene at the junction of Lawkholme Lane and Cavendish Street on Sunday evening.
The incident occurred at approximately 8pm.
A man in his thirties was reportedly attacked on the roadway before the perpetrator entered a BMW and drove the vehicle toward the victim.
The victim sustained a leg injury and was transported to hospital for treatment.
Two suspects, aged 36 and 40, were subsequently detained on suspicion of a section 18 attempt wounding with intent offence.
Both have been released on bail pending further investigation.
Detective inquiries remain active as officers continue to piece together the circumstances surrounding the reported assault.
