Paramedics and officers were responding to an occurrence at a supermarket in Bradford on Tuesday.

A restricted zone has been set up at the Asda store on Cemetery Road in the Lidget Green area, with numerous patrol cars and ambulance units on site.

Yorkshire Ambulance Service confirmed that crews had been dispatched to the location.

A spokesperson stated that ambulance teams were present at the scene on Cemetery Road in Bradford but could not provide additional information.

Eyewitnesses describe large crowd gathering

A person who contacted the Telegraph & Argus at approximately 4.28pm reported observing a substantial emergency services response at the address.

Another individual present said between four and five police cars and a paramedic vehicle were visible, with barriers erected across a section of the parking area.

They added that numerous members of the public had assembled in the vicinity.

According to this observer, the gathering had swelled to about 60 individuals by the middle of the day.

Images from the location show a marked West Yorkshire Police car positioned beyond blue-and-white security barriers.

Two Yorkshire Ambulance Service vans were also visible within the secured perimeter, together with several uniformed responders dressed in high-visibility apparel.
