A high-energy spoken word showcase is set to take place at a Bradford venue during this year’s literary festival.
The performance will occur at The Studio within the Alhambra Theatre on Thursday evening at 7.30pm.
A small number of tickets remain on sale.
Those appearing include Maxine Meixner, Carys Clempner, Kinan Salaam, IAMTariq, Thea Lungu and Farah Chamma.
Festival materials describe the evening as combining incisive humour, candid expression and vibrant delivery. The annual event brings together rising voices alongside established names in spoken word, each contributing their own approach to this lively tribute to language and social engagement. Described as daring, fervent and unreservedly challenging, the occasion serves as a potent demonstration of poetry’s capacity to provoke dialogue, resistance and transformation.
Admission is priced at £15 and places can be secured via the festival website.
