A section of Canal Road will be shut down temporarily for overnight water infrastructure work.
Residents have been informed by Bradford Council that between 11pm on May 14 and 5am on May 15, all traffic will be prohibited from passing through the intersection of Canal Road and North Brook Street.
Exemptions apply to vehicles required for the water infrastructure work.
Foot traffic will continue as normal throughout the period, with no restrictions for pedestrians.
Drivers may use alternate paths along the unaffected portion of Canal Road, Hamme Strasse, Valley Road, Shipley Airedale Road, Canal Road and the reverse direction.
Although the planned closure spans six hours during nighttime, council officials noted that extensions of up to 18 months remain possible if required.
The shutdown will facilitate water infrastructure work scheduled to take place along Canal Road in Bradford.
