A well-known clothing brand will be leaving its location in the heart of Bradford.
New Look has been a tenant at the Kirkgate Shopping centre for several years.
Since the shopping centre is planned for demolition later this year, the company has opted to cease operations at that location in June.
When is New Look in Kirkgate closing?
The shopping centre stated on social platforms that the location will close on Monday, June 8, expressing gratitude to customers with the statement: “Thanks for having us, Bradford.”
Clearance sales underway
Prior to the shutdown, customers can enjoy an additional 20 percent reduction on items already marked down, while supplies last.
According to the announcement, the sale features tops starting at £3 along with coats and jackets from £10.
New Look maintaining presence in Bradford
Although the Kirkgate location is closing, New Look will keep trading at another Bradford site.
The company operates a location at The Broadway, which currently maintains hours of 9am to 7pm Monday through Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sundays.
One of Britain’s most recognizable fashion retailers
Established by Tom Singh in 1969 in Taunton, Somerset, New Look expanded rapidly into one of the UK’s most familiar clothing retailers.
The company describes its goal as becoming a preferred shopping destination for fashion that enables customers to feel self-assured, emphasizing its belief in the “transformative power of a really great outfit.”
New Look also maintains locations in Halifax and the White Rose Shopping Centre in Leeds.
