A refresh of bus schedules throughout Bradford is scheduled for the upcoming bank holiday weekend.
These modifications coincide with the launch of the summer season Nidderdale DalesBus routes, which will operate on Sundays and bank holiday Mondays.
The summer services will travel to and from the Washburn Valley, Pateley Bridge, Fountains Abbey, Ripon, and Upper Nidderdale.
On Saturday, 2nd May, regular Saturday timetables will remain in effect.
Conversely, on Sunday, 3rd May, and Bank Holiday Monday, 4th May, all services will convert to Sunday schedules.
This transition brings the launch of DalesBus routes 820 and 821, alongside Cravenlink DalesBus 864, serving Ilkley, Skipton, and Malham.
Route 820 is being extended and will now include journeys to Fountains Abbey and Ripon, commencing from Sunday, 3rd May.
This service will operate every Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday until 18th October.
Individual route information is as follows:
DalesBus 820 leaves Bradford Interchange at 9.10am, Shipley Market Place at 9.25am, and Otley Bus Station at 9.55am and 3.05pm, with return services from Ripon departing at 11.45am towards Otley and 4.35pm towards Bradford.
Summer DalesBus timetable brochures can be obtained from the travel centre at Bradford Interchange, with full details also accessible at dalesbus.org.
